We are blessedly lucky to not be presently affected by the wild fires burning in LA and Newport Beach, although this latter is a bit too close for comfort. The news reports say around midnight to 5:00 a.m. the winds will be at their strongest, then should begin to die out by Thursday. Let’s hope that no further disasters come from this. I also saw on the news there is another big fire near Camp Pendleton, about 45 minutes south of me. Big sigh.
